Love Bruno’s! Good drinks. Solid and dependable food, and fantastic company. The outdoor seating is fantastic with lots of fire pits for those chilly winter / spring evenings. The downstairs bar is also great if it gets too cold outside.
I had bypassed this place from 1st glance at day light! It seemed to me as if it looked like an average pizzeria from outside! A week later I glanced at the local paper something about a life music, drink specials, good food on Fridays @ Bruno’s Bar & Grill. So I thought, ehhh what the heck, I’ll go and get something to eat there but didn’t expected the amazing dining experience I had!!! “Socks blown off” is that how you say it in America when you are completely surprised? Yea, I think so! Well the atmosphere on the roof top, lightings, food, the service, decoration, prices accompanied with great smooth live music, as well as dining our delicious dinner at a table with a bond fire in the middle burning… what a surprise this was! This is a 5 star place all around, camouflaged in hiding in Scott’s Valley. My suggestion of food; The NY Steak w/ ribs.
We love Bruno's!! The owners have assembled an amazing team that provide the best service, food and drinks in Scotts Valley. The owners regularly reward outstanding service with bonuses and celebration. It is like they are a family not just a business. This is one of our " Go To Places". Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.
On this really warm evening, we wanted a great place to sit outside. Bruno’s has a fantastic patio for both day and evening. Umbrellas for shade, fire pits for night and some nights live music. It was too warm for a heavy meal, but Bruno’s has GREAT salads. You can add protein too. We had the pear Gorgonzola salad with chicken added. It was loaded with toppings and just the right amount of dressing. The tri tip was tender and was the best part of that salad. There’s a great drink menu which includes local beers, wine and some great cocktails. There are a few different choices to dine inside. Downstairs dining room, upstairs has a more pub/sports bar vibe and outside on the patio. There’s also a large banquet area. Oh I can’t forget the fireplace bar. Cozy and great spot for a drink. The owners have really done a great job remodeling the spaces.
I took a Wed off for my birthday and was interested in a little day drinking. I met Stac the bartender who made the best Bloody Mary this side of the Hill! Even putting a candle on my drink with a happy birthday tune 🎵 Talk about going above and beyond. Next time you’re in Scott’s Valley stop in and maybe Stacy can make your day too!
Ok so I'm guessing if you go early before the dinner rush on Fridays you'll get better service, also it seems they have music on Thursday's so maybe consider that if you're able to. The upstairs terrace is the place to be. I really enjoyed the atmosphere especially the vault bar and the outside balcony lounge/terrace. The food is pricey but its the ambiance your paying for. Oh I also recommend the big bloody!
Stopped by Bruno’s on Thursday and had a really good experience. Gretchen was our waitress and she was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The food was really good, everything came out fresh, and the service was great. If you’re looking for a good barbecue spot for a night out, Bruno’s is definitely worth trying.

We recently held a meeting at this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The private room was the perfect space for our group—spacious, comfortable, well-lit, and ideal for conversation and presentations. The food was excellent, and everything was served on time, which helped our meeting stay on schedule. The service was friendly, attentive, and professional, making the entire event run seamlessly. Overall, this is a fantastic venue for a business meeting, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meeting space with quality food and exceptional service.
The best ribs I’ve ever had! The cocktails are delicious, strong and perfectly made. I absolutely love this place and will definitely be coming back.
